Manhattan East: NYSAE Award

NEW YORK - July, 2002 - Manhattan East Suite Hotels is proud to be the recipient of the 2002
NYSAE Social Responsibility Award for their work in providing valuable community service to New
York City and its citizens.
For the past three years, Manhattan East has partnered with New York Cares to supply materials
and labor for the community service projects in which more than 400 Manhattan East employees
participated. Past projects have included work at P.S. 64 on the Lower East Side where a parking lot was
transformed into a playground as well as the cleaning and beautification of the Jackie Robinson Park and
complete landscaping for the community garden and senior citizen center of Sugar Hill in Harlem.
