Due to popular demand, America
West Airlines (NYSE: AWA) is giving customers another week to book a
discounted ticket for a family vacation in the Sunshine state.  The airline`s
Internet fare sale for travel to four fabulous destinations in Florida
including Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa is extended for bookings
at http://www.americawest.com through May 12.

Customers can take advantage of these special fares for travel beginning
May 13 through August 24, 2002.  Roundtrip tickets must be purchased seven
days in advance and a one-night stay is required.  The maximum stay is 30
days.

Customers will also receive 3,000 FlightFund bonus miles for every
roundtrip ticket purchased at americawest.com with travel completed by
Dec. 31, 2002.
