Customer Miles Offered for Mobile Calls.

Air Miles, the UK`s leading loyalty scheme and BA Miles, the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer currency, have teamed up with BT Retail to offer customers miles whenever they use their mobile telephone.

BT Retail customers will be able to collect either the loyalty currency Air Miles or the frequent flyer currency BA Miles, when they connect to BT Cellnet, as they use their phone at home or abroad, on special tariffs and on phone upgrades.

Customers will receive 175 Air Miles (1,750 BA Miles) on connecting to the Air Miles tariff, as well as earning 1 Air Mile (10 BA Miles) for every £5 spent on mobile calls, after three months continuous connection.

Drew Thomson, Managing Director of Air Miles and BA Miles said: “Mobile phones form an intrinsic part of the everyday lives of our customers. The deal between us and BT provides our customers with one of richest telephone deals ever offered by Air Miles. This partnership is even more exciting, as both parties are looking at ways to expand this relationship beyond the provision of mobile services.”
