According to news from the national airline, Cayman
Airways successfully negotiated a contract with the
Cincinnati’s Sunshine Tours to provide weekly charter
service between Cincinnati, Ohio and Grand Cayman.

“We are delighted to have secured this
contract,” said Rick Blake, VP Sales & Marketing,
Cayman Airways. “It allows us to maximise use of our
aircraft in a planned and managed environment, and
to work with a company that is selling the Cayman
Islands.

The charter will begin operating on December
21, 2002 and will arrive and depart on Saturdays.
Sunshine Tours has been providing air and hotel
packages to three hotels in Grand Cayman—the
Marriott, the Westin and the Holiday Inn—for several
years.

Cayman Airways’ commitment to enhancing
our business viability is evident in this venture, and we
will continue to look for innovative ways to increase
our revenue,” concluded Blake.
