Raffles Hotels announces new resort in Morocco

“Raffles Hotels & Resorts announced today that it will manage a new resort in Taghazout, Morocco.  The resort, owned by global real estate investment firm Colony Capital, will be located along the pristine Atlantic coast north of Agadir.  When it opens in 2010, Raffles Taghazout will feature approximately 165 luxuriously- appointed guest room villas as well as 60 Raffles Residences for private ownership.  Raffles Residences in Taghazout will be available in a variety of options from luxury apartments to private villas with golf course views, all designed to reflect the refined elegance and residential charm for which Raffles is renowned.

At Raffles Taghazout, traditional Moroccan architectural style and sophisticated contemporary design will merge seamlessly, reflecting the rich culture, heritage and artistry of Morocco as well as the ambience of cultured luxury that distinguishes Raffles hotels and resorts around the globe.  Its superb beach-front location ensures residents sweeping views of the azure waters which have made Taghazout increasingly favoured by travellers.
