Utell reveals hotel signings

Utell Hotels & Resorts has welcomed a raft of prestigious hotel signings, building on the success of its Utell Collections programme.The five Utell Collections; Utell Business, Luxury, Boutique, Spa and Golf have seen strong growth since launch at ITB, Berlin in March 2007. The Utell Luxury Collection recently reported 30 per cent revenue growth for its member hotels. These impressive figures have attracted a string of more than 70 hotels worldwide to the Utell Collections.

The Utell Business Collection now has over 100 members, with new additions including 12 Steigenberger hotels in Germany, Netherlands and Egypt, the Strand Palace in London and the Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Hong Kong.  Hotels which have joined the Luxury Collection include the Harbour Hotel & Residence (formerly the Emirates Marina Hotel & Residence) in Dubai which opened in November 2007 and the Thompson Beverly Hills which opens this month in California.

 

These hotels and many others have joined the Utell Collections programme in order to benefit from valuable sales, marketing and distribution support aimed at driving customers to member hotels through focusing on the type of hotel experience they offer.

Hotels in the Utell Collections can be booked by travel agents on the GDS, through calling a local Utell reservations office and on Utell’s dedicated travel agency website, www.UtellAgent.com

 

Each Collection has its own consumer facing website, e.g. www.UtellBusiness.com and www.UtellLuxury.com, maximising Pegasus Solutions’ expertise and online reach in web and distribution technology.  Member hotels also benefit from inclusion in high quality directories, electronic marketing to targeted hotel customers, active media engagement through public relations and advertising, e-mail database brand and promotional marketing and partnerships with signature websites relevant to each programme.
