Newmarket appoints new sales boss

Newmarket International has announced
that it has appointed Patrik Wennerland to Sales Director EMEA.In this
role, Wennerland is responsible for managing the EMEA sales team to help
deliver continued sales growth and reinforce Newmarket’s leading market

Patrik Wennerland brings over 15 years of international experience in
global, regional and local sales and marketing in the travel and hospitality
sector to the Sales Director role. He comes to Newmarket from myhotels Ltd,
a luxury lifestyle boutique group in London, where he was the Managing
Director. At myhotels Mr.Wennerland led a successful repositioning of the
group in the international marketplace and expanded the company’s overall
portfolio by rebuilding and refocusing the sales team.

escalating growth. With an EMEA team able to do business in ten languages,
an industry leading product set, and an established base of over 8,000

In addition to his tenure at myhotels, Mr. Wennerland held other critical
leadership positions within the hospitality industry. Previously, he was
Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Park Plaza Hotels Europe where he led
all corporate sales and marketing efforts. Before that, he held VP roles at
Golden Tulip and swiss™tel Management Ltd as well as Choice Hotels
