Groople wins WebAward

Groople has won the Web Marketing Association’s 2005 WebAward for “Standard of Excellence” in the travel category, joining other winners this year such as American Airlines, Club Med, Rail Europe and Lonely Planet.
The ninth annual WebAwards were presented by the Web Marketing Association, an independent organization dedicated to evaluating and recognizing excellence on the Internet.

“When travelers come to Groople, they know they are accessing discounted group rates and tools to book their trip, but they may not recognize the dedicated team working behind the scenes,” said Groople Chief Executive Officer David Loy.  “Groople has created a careful balance of technology and personal attention to best suit our customers, and we are honored to be recognized for our innovation, technology and design.”
