In support of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance the number of Hispanic franchisees in its system, lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International will host a networking event at the Cacao Restaurant located 141 Giralda Avenue today in Miami Beach. The invitation-only event will bring prospective Hispanic hoteliers that are currently proceeding through the sales cycle together with Choice Hotels representatives while providing a networking platform to openly discuss common successes and challenges.“We are excited to offer potential Hispanic franchisees an opportunity to network with experienced lodging industry entrepreneurs and hear success stories from existing Hispanic Choice Hotels franchisees,” said Raul Fuentes, manager, emerging markets. “We recognize and appreciate the wealth of experience that our minority franchisees bring to the table and look forward to developing solid opportunities for them to grow within the Choice Hotels system.”
In May 2005, Choice Hotels launched the Choice Hotels Hispanic Owners and Managers Alliance (CHHOMA). This Alliance was developed to provide networking opportunities for Hispanic franchisees to share best practices and experiences and to serve as a platform to recruit new Hispanic franchisees to the Choice Hotels system.
