The Board of SAA today announced that Andre Viljoen President and CEO of the airline has resigned from the company. Such a resignation will be effective from 31 August 2004. The Board also announced that Mr Oyama Mabandla, currently Deputy CEO, has been appointed Acting Chief Executive from 1 September 2004.
