The fourth annual Euromoney/LatinFinance Caribbean Investment Forum to be hosted in Trinidad

The leading financial and investment media companies LatinFinance and Euromoney Conferences are convening the 4th Caribbean Investment Forum in Port of Spain, Trinidad, May 12-13, 2004. International and regional business and political leaders will join the cream of the region’s financial institutions in a two-day Forum to define the economic agenda for the Caribbean for the medium term.“We are delighted to be in Port of Spain this year and we know that the 2004 Forum will be the most influential yet. We can promise our guests the lively debate of a series of controversial questions of vital interest to the region and beyond,” says Richard Banks, the Forum’s Director.

Three Caribbean prime ministers are currently confirmed as speakers and panelists, as well as the Secretary General of CARICOM, Chairman of Cable & Wireless PLC, Scotiabank’s Global Head of International Banking and many of the region’s most senior business people, bankers and public officials. This is, without doubt, the most important gathering of those driving the regional agenda this year. Those with an interest in the region should not miss it.

The Caribbean Investment Forum is a unique event financed by a group of public and private sector sponsors from the Caribbean and internationally with the objective of driving forward the region to a connected and prosperous future. Now in its fourth year (and confirmed for 2005), its vibrancy and importance show that the Caribbean region is far from just the tourist paradise it is commonly perceived to be.

The Forum is a by-invitation-only event, open to a limited number of specially selected guests who are not charged to attend. We have a small number of invitations available for media representatives. Please contact the people below to apply for media registration.
