Renz to take new global sales director role with Rocco Forte Renz will take up the position in 2013

Rocco Forte Hotels has confirmed the appointment of Christian Renz to the newly created position of global sales director.

This additional post at senior level will further enhance the company’s sales and marketing capability and underpin its revenue growth ambitions.

In his new role with Rocco Forte Hotels, Christian will direct the team of 24 regional sales directors and managers located in twelve countries in Europe, Middle East and the Americas.

He will also provide functional leadership for the sales and marketing specialists in the company’s 13 luxury hotels and assist with new openings.

He will report to Karim Naffah, Rocco Forte Hotels’ managing director, and be a member of the executive committee of the board.

He will take up his post on January 2nd 2013 and will be based in the company’s London office.

Christian worked in senior sales roles with Kempinski Hotels for five years from 2006 to 2011.

As vice president sales, he was responsible for developing, expanding and leading the team of regional sales directors in Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia in order to maximise revenue at the 64 Kempinski hotels.

He was also responsible for directing the sales development activities throughout the portfolio of hotels.
