Four Seasons Mauritius, Anahita gears up for AfrAsia Golf Masters

Imagine teeing off towards the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, basking under tropical sunshine, with a golfing partner who is one of the top players in Europe. It may sound too good to be true, but that’s exactly what is on offer this December at Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita.

The AfrAsia Golf Masters, Mauritius at Anahita will take place from December 13 to 17, 2011 and will see professional players from both the European Tour and the Allianz Tour compete to be crowned this year’s champion. Plus, in addition to the pro tournament, guests can enjoy a full week of golfing action, with their chance to play with the professionals in both a Pro-Am and Alliance format (subscription fees apply).

Players already confirmed for the tournament include Christian Cevaer, Victor Dubuisson, Gregory Havret, and returning in a bid to defend his title, Nicolas Colsearts. To be held on the ocean front Ernie Els-designed championship course, the location offers spectacular views across the turquoise waters of the serene lagoon, while each hole intricately weaves around the coastline to create technical challenges to players of all levels.

Guests attending the week-long competition can enjoy luxury accommodation in Garden Pool Villas at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, each of which features extensive outdoor terraces, a private plunge pool and secluded tropical gardens. The AfrAsia Golf Masters package also includes a full evening program of fine dining and traditional cuisine, as well as prize giving events and final gala dinner; daily breakfast at the Resort’s Beau Champ restaurant and lunch each day at Le Club restaurant, which overlooks the stunning 18th hole of the Ernie Els course.
