As winter sets in Brits are likely to go to Egypt in search of sun, sea and sand, say the online travel provider ULookUBook.com.
The travel company, ULookUBook.com, fully expect a surge in demand for holidays to Sharm el Sheikh and other Egyptian resorts this winter. The company say that the popularity of such holidays is already rising due to the great sights and fantastic scuba diving.
The company also points to statements by the Egyptian Minister for Tourism, Mounir Fakhry Abdel Noor, who claimed last month that Egypt’s tourism income would reach $10 billion by the end of the year.
Ian Raine, of ULookUBook.com, comments: “We saw Egypt holidays increase in popularity throughout the summer and expect the destination to pull in a large number of tourists during the winter months. This belief is obviously shared by the Egyptian Minister for Tourism, who expects to see tourism income increase in the next few months.
“Egypt is a great destination and any Egypt holiday can include a jaunt to the Pyramids or a scuba diving lesson. The weather during the winter is always very warm, so Brits will not only be treated to a range of activities but brilliant weather and stunning scenery as well. We are very excited to send more and more people to this great destination.”
