Family connection: Dual Faull promotions at Swiss-Belhotel International

Global hotel management group Swiss-Belhotel International has promoted two executive directors – Oliver Faull and Edward Faull – as part of its continuing expansion.

Both already hold senior executive positions within the group and, along with their brother Matthew Faull, also hold equity interest in Swiss-Belhotel International.

The extension of their respective roles is part of the ongoing restructuring within the global hospitality group as SBI aggressively expands internationally.

Oliver Faull will take on the role of vice president for Australia & New Zealand in addition to his responsibility as assistant chief financial officer.

He is a certified public accountant in Hong Kong and New Zealand and an Auckland University business graduate, and his career in auditing and business analysis also took him to Europe and the USA.

He is also responsible for operations and development in Vietnam working closely with Emmanuel Guillard, senior vice president for Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam to develop the important emerging markets of south-east Asia.

Gavin Faull, chairman and president of Swiss-Belhotel International firmly believes that a personal, inclusive and empowering approach to business brings important values and skills to corporate culture, even at an international level.

“Companies need diversity to thrive,” said Gavin Faull.

“Oliver and Edward will inject invaluable financial and technical expertise into their new roles to help the business grow and evolve.

“Together with our valued partners, we lead the firm with a belief in the power of individuality, a personable attitude and a personalised approach.”

Faull’s eldest son, Matthew Faull also works with Swiss-Belhotel International as senior vice president of information technology, e-commerce and distribution.
