Delta waves farewell to Gatwick
Delta Air Lines has moved its last remaining UK flight from Gatwick Airport to Heathrow, waving goodbye to London’s second airport.
Delta confirmed earlier its service to Atlanta would switch to Heathrow, following departures to New York JFK and Cincinnati, which moved in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
The last Atlanta flight will depart Gatwick on April 17th, with the Heathrow replacement operating from April 18th.
The flight will be operated with a 246-seat Boeing 767-400ER aircraft.
