French airport goes wireless

Tekworld is forming a roaming agreement with Trustive to make Nice-C™te D’Azur the first airport in France with wireless access.
In addition to providing secure wireless coverage at France’s second busiest airport, Tekworld, which is a subsidiary of Monaco-based Microtek Group, operates an innovative network of carefully chosen hotspots including Monaco and other ports along the Riviera, country clubs, congresses and the heavily traveled toll road that links Italy with the resorts of C™te D’Azur and Provence.

The roaming arrangement has already been fully tested and integrated, the companies said.

“Tekworld is an example of a smart, highly-focused company that provides first-class service to a first-class clientele,” Trustive Managing Director Gavin Dresselhuis said. “This area of the south of France is an an important pole for both wireless communications companies and a large population of upscale international users.”
