IBEROSTAR Marbella Coral Beach Hotel has seen its official opening with very special host, Antonio Banderas, on hand for the celebrations. The world renowned actor from Malaga, who has been the face of this hotel chain since 2010, did not want to miss out on the chance to be part of the expansion of IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts on the Costa del Sol.

The IBEROSTAR Marbella Coral Beach is the latest hotel to join the IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts chain, becoming the company’s first hotel in one of the UK’s favourite holiday destination, Málaga.

IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts announced today that it has signed an agreement with world renowned actor, Antonio Banderas to be the new face of the brand for the next three years. The marketing campaign was launched during an international press conference at the brand’s Grand Hotel Paraíso in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest property, the IBEROSTAR Laguna Azul in Cuba’s popular resort of Varadero.  Officially opened on the 14 September 2009, this brings the total number of properties that IBEROSTAR operates in Cuba to six and is perfect timing as British travellers start planning their winter sun holidays for 2009/’10.

IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts continues to demonstrate their commitment to Greece, where they already have 12 properties, with the addition of the new five star IBEROSTAR Odysseus located on the island of Kos.

IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest property, the five star IBEROSTAR Bellis in Turkey. The hotel chain now has a presence in 16 countries.
