The President of the Council of Ministers, Matteo Renzi, today presided at a meeting at Expo 2015, attended by Ministers Maurizio Lupi and Maurizio Martina; the President of ANAC, Raffaele Cantone; the President of the Lombardy Region, Roberto Maroni; the Mayor of Milan, Giuliano Pisapia; the Prefect of Milan, Francesco Paolo Tronca, and the Commissioner of Expo 2015, Giuseppe Sala, who reached the following decisions:

1) An office for the technical and administrative coordination, within the Board of Directors, is established with the task of overseeing the execution of necessary measures for the implementation and conduct of the Universal Exposition.

2) ANAC and its president, Raffaele Cantone, assume responsibility for the supervision of the procedures and administrative transparency of Expo 2015, and guarantee the supervision of competitive tender committees for the award of contracts.

3) By the date of the next Shareholders’ Meeting of Expo 2015 S.p.A. (June 4, 2014), the coverage of the future expert contributions of the Province of Milan will be defined.

Furthermore, the new Director General of Construction is Marco Rettighieri, the current Chief Operating Officer of Italferr. His candidature was proposed by the CEO of Expo 2015.
