The MTR Corporation’s Information Security Enhancement Programme recently scooped the Best Security Strategy Award in the ninth annual MIS Asia IT Excellence Awards held in Singapore. Mr Daniel Lai, Head of Information Technology of the MTR Corporation (right), received the award on behalf of the Corporation.
“Protecting our information assets from security threats such as unauthorised access, spams and viruses are of critical importance to our operations,” said Mr Daniel Lai. “We are proud to receive this prestigious award. Credit goes to all MTR staff and business partners who worked with us throughout the process.”
Judges described the MTR Corporation’s Information Security Enhancement Programme as “a holistic approach to security” and “covers multi-facets of security threats”.
