LATAM touches down in Lisbon for the first time

LATAM Airlines Group’s first flight to Lisbon touched down at Humberto Delgado Airport earlier.

The arrival of LATAM Airlines Brazil flight JJ8178 marks the beginning of five weekly non-stop flights between São Paulo/Guarulhos and the Portuguese capital.

The route will be operated by Boeing 767 aircraft, offering 191 seats in economy and 30 in premium business.

Passengers throughout South America can connect conveniently with this new flight via LATAM’s São Paulo/Guarulhos hub.

Located on the Atlantic coast, Lisbon is the most western capital of Europe and Portugal’s largest metropolis.

As one of the world’s oldest cities, it is renowned for its historical and cultural riches, attracting tourists from across the globe.

LATAM Airlines Brazil flight JJ8178 departs São Paulo/Guarulhos on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with a journey time of ten hours.

The return flight, JJ8179, takes off from Lisbon (Humberto Delgado Airport) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a journey time of ten hours, 45 minutes.

Exact departure and arrival times depend on the day of travel.

With the addition of Lisbon, LATAM now serves eight cities in Europe including Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Paris, Frankfurt and London.
