La Perle by Dragone launches group bookings in Dubai

The dawn of a new era of entertainment will arrive in Dubai with La Perle by Dragone, the region’s first permanent show housed in a tailor-made state of the art aqua-theatre.

Previewing in December 2016, group and MICE bookings from groups of 20 up to 1,275 people are now available from January 2017 onwards.

La Perle will help fill the gap of quality live evening entertainment in the region and will enhance itineraries for the MICE industry from business to leisure groups by providing an unmissable live entertainment experience in the heart of Dubai.

As a permanent fixture in Dubai, with 450 performances of the show per year – two nightly, five days a week, all year long for many years to come, the MICE and travel industry can safely book itineraries well in advance with the knowledge that their clients will experience a world-class theatrical show the likes of which have never been seen before.

Craig Hartenstine, executive producer, La Perle said: “La Perle by Dragone, will be a one of a kind show that will become an icon of Dubai.

“These iconic shows become part of a cities brand such as Broadway shows in New York and the Cabarets in Paris.

“With La Perle, Dubai will continue to grow culturally, enhance its incredible tourist offering and become a new epicentre of world class entertainment.”

Produced by cultural creative company Dragone, directed by the legendary artistic director Franco Dragone and brought to Dubai by the Al Habtoor Group, the production will be created in Dubai and will embody the spirit of Arabia.

Franco Dragone is one of the most sought-after artistic directors in the world and famed for reinventing the genre of theatre and changing the face of live entertainment in Las Vegas.

His most significant shows in the last decade include: Celine Dion - A New Day, O and Le Rêve (Las Vegas) and The House of Dancing Water (Macau).

La Perle will feature a cast of 65 world-class artists performing breath-taking aqua and aerial feats with the assistance of 70 specialised technicians in the tailor-made, state of the art, intimate 1,300 seat theatre.

The theatre itself will feature an ‘aqua-stage’ filled with 2.5 million litres of water and will have the ability to change from a dry platform to aquatic stage and vice versa. Daredevil performers will dive into the water-filled stage from a height of 35 metres and fly around the auditorium on high-powered winches at a speed of four metres per second.

With this cutting edge stagecraft and state of the art technology fused together La Perle will be a visually stunning spectacle in, on and above water.

La Perle will really compliment the tourist’s daytime activities in the souks, malls, desert and beaches when the sun goes down, La Perle will shine as Dubai’s new live entertainment masterpiece.
