Hilton Hotels & Resorts opens Hilton Nanjing in China’s Jiangsu Province

Conveniently located as part of Nanjing Wanda Plaza, the hotel provides guests with direct access to expansive malls, luxury shopping outlets and the first and only IMAX cinema in town. It is the first of two Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties set to open in Nanjing this fall.

Located approximately 40 kilometers from Nanjing Lukou International Airport and approximately three kilometers from Nanjing International Expo Centre, the hotel also enjoys a central location within the Jianye District that is walking distance to Jiqingmendajie Metro Station and close to Mochou Lake Park, Nanjing Yunjin (brocade) Museum and Nanjing International Expo Centre.

Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide, said, “In recent years, Nanjing has seen tremendous commercial and industrial development, with more foreign investment flowing into the city. Ensuring that we have a presence in this important city in the bustling Jianye District gives an impetus to the development aspirations of Hilton Worldwide in China.”

The hotel includes deluxe and executive guest room options along with 19 suites. With designs that reflect the rich history of this former capital, the contemporary rooms feature a state-of-the-art sound system, high-speed internet access and generous work spaces. Guests are also spoilt for choice at six innovative dining options: The Square, an all-day dining restaurant, The Gallery Lobby Bar and the Library, an upbeat bar with live entertainment. In addition, there is the Café Deli, serving delectable home-baked items, as well as two Chinese restaurants - Yue Yang, featuring local Nanjing fare and homemade dim sum, and Yue Xuan featuring fine dishes such as abalone, birds’ nest, sea cucumber and fresh seafood.

Hilton Nanjing also offers seven versatile meeting rooms and a 1,200-square meter pillar-less Grand Ballroom. With a nine-meter high ceiling, this makes it the largest ballroom in town. The hotel also has a business center and wireless internet access throughout the premises.

Our loyal business and leisure travelers can enjoy our signature Hilton hospitality when they visit the city, and we want this hotel to become a prime destination for members of the local community.”

Hilton Nanjing is the 23rd Hilton Worldwide property and twelfth Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in China. It is operated and managed by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Wanda Hotel Investment & Development Co., Ltd.
