Exclusive Escapes unveils brand new website

Exclusive Escapes has unveiled a brand new website - www.exclusiveescapes.co.uk – with 60 short films and around 10,000 new colour images which leaves guests in no doubt as to the quality of its Hidden Turkey 2012 programme.  99% of Exclusive Escapes’ Lycian Coast portfolio now has professional footage, creating one of the most complete online film libraries of any specialist tour operator.  And with a level of detail that includes stills images of individual rooms and google location maps for each property, there are no hidden surprises.

The Turkey specialist is thought to be the first independent operator to enable guests to search and book any regional flights online in real-time. Guests can choose flights into Dalaman from 95% of regional airports (from Aberdeen to Exeter) and book these online at the same time as their accommodation. Or fly with the tour operator’s Saturday Manchester and Heathrow BMI service which offers the only business class seats into Dalaman.

To increase flexibility further, breaks can be booked for any duration, can start and finish on any day of the week, and all properties can be reserved with or without flights.  All prices - whether boutique hotel, villa with pool or gulet cruise – appear in real-time.

The new website has 60 short films (of 2-4 minutes) set to emotive music (which can be muted if preferred) delivering the essence of Exclusive Escapes’ stylish holidays. There is also a brand new, click-through stills image gallery for each property with panoramic views, captioned shots, and a mosaic of smaller, pop-up pictures.  Every property is google-mapped so guests know the location and can calculate local distances at-a-glance.

Exclusive Escapes has added a ‘save page’ function (which appears as a heart on the site) that allows users to select a favourite property or region and place it in the main menu, which can then be returned to later with one click.  Another useful tool is the ‘be inspired’ search facility which highlights key property features such as those with a private waterfront, a romantic retreat, adult-only etc – having made a selection, properties with real-time availability are presented immediately.

The new web site has been optimised to take advantage of broadband internet, with each region and property being a seamless mini site. It includes a month-by-month guide to the Turkish climate and regional forecasts; all coastal regions, and cultural sites and other more remote regions (including Istanbul, Cappadocia and Ephesus); special interest breaks; early booking, solo traveller offers and loyalty benefits; and the company’s environmental policy.
