ebookers introduce dedicated mobile website for planning travel

ebookers.com, one of Europe’s leading online travel agents, has today launched a dedicated mobile website to help customers plan and research travel on the move. As one of the first online travel agents to offer the service, the new mobile website will allow anyone with an internet-enabled mobile phone to plan their next holiday from the palm of their hand.

The mobile site will provide direct access to thousands of hotel, flight and car deals and availability – customers will be able to research travel deals to destinations they are interested in visiting and book when they get home on their laptop or PC.

Customers will be able to access the site by simply visiting the ebookers.com website (http://www.ebookers.com) from their mobile phone browser where they will automatically be directed to a version of the site best customised to their phone. With the ability to search live prices and availability for flights, hotels and car hire, they will also see relevant information to help them plan their travel.

The introduction of this new mobile website by ebookers is the latest in a long line of innovations from the company over recent months. Other tech innovations include improved hotel mapping; increased hotel search functionalities; Live Chat booking assistance; amenity searching; and saved hotel options - all aimed at making holiday planning decisions easier and simpler for travellers.
