The programme will offer ebookers’ customers simple and easy ways to earn and spend generous cash rewards on travel when booking on the site with instant access to the benefits.

ebookers is the first online travel agent that will allow customers to earn rewards on flights, hotels and packaged trips all in one place with both business and leisure travellers being rewarded with meaningful discounts, bonuses and exclusive added value services.

The launch of Bonus+ coincides with ebookers’ new brand proposition and website refresh, highlighting ebookers’ commitment to always give it’s customers a more rewarding travel experience. 

Insight from ebookers has identified that a continued lack of loyalty is seen in the industry as 69 per cent of consumers say they will visit more websites to find the right price and will use more comparison sites in the next 12 months than ever before to plan their holiday.


The research revealed that when looking for a rewards programme, travel customers need a service that is free and easy to enrol in, simple to understand, flexible and fast – meaning that they can earn and redeem rewards quickly, and most importantly – redeem on travel.

The new ebookers website and rewards programme has been designed with this insight in mind and is easy to join, easy to earn and easy for customers to redeem their rewards, for example a customer could book a flight and have the Bonus+ cash rewards in their account within just three milliseconds for instant use on the purchase of a hotel.

The programme, which launches in September, works in a way that will see customers earn rewards currency, Bonus+, that will go directly into their account. Customers on each tier can earn three per cent on hotel bookings, two per cent on packaged trips and one per cent on flight bookings.
