Choice Hotels International is partnering with TripAdvisor on the new mobile TripAdvisor Instant Booking feature. TripAdvisor is currently testing Instant Booking, which allows travelers to easily complete their hotel reservations while remaining on the TripAdvisor mobile app and mobile website.
Rather than redirecting customers to the Choice Hotels website, as before, TripAdvisor Instant Booking offers mobile users a “Book on TripAdvisor” button. Customers select a room, input their personal information and credit card number, and complete their booking with Choice Hotels, without leaving the TripAdvisor interface.
After completing their booking, guests will receive a Choice Hotels confirmation number and email, the same as a reservation made through ChoiceHotels.com or 800.4CHOICE. All customer service inquiries regarding Choice Hotels reservations will continue to be handled by Choice Hotels and the property where the reservation was made.

TripAdvisor Instant Booking will initially be available in the U.S. and is expected to launch later this year.
