Arrowhead Hospitality Group LLC, a Bloomington, MN based company,
announces it has added the East Bay Hotel, Grand Marais, MN and the
Microtel Inn & Suites, Owatonna, MN, to its hotel management portfolio.

According to Kevin Sawatsky, President of Arrowhead Hospitality Group,
“We`re excited to add these unique properties. They greatly broaden our
hotel offerings for guests traveling throughout the state.”

The East Bay Hotel is the only full-service hotel in Grand Marais and
features 38 rooms, whirlpool and fireplace suites, a full-service lounge
and restaurant, and meeting facilities. Mark Sandbo will serve as general
manager for the property. Prior to joining Arrowhead Hospitality, Sandbo
worked at Caribou Highlands Resort in Lutsen. Sandbo also serves as the
Mayor of Grand Marais.

The Microtel Inn & Suites offers 65 well-appointed guest rooms and suites
with such in-room amenities as desks with work stations, coffee makers,
satellite television and features a complimentary breakfast. The Microtel
Inn & Suites chain was recently ranked “Number 1 in Guest Satisfaction,”
in a recent survey by J.D. Power & Associates. Sarah Lindquist will serve
as the manager of the property.
