Wyndham International, Inc. (NYSE:WYN) announced today the promotion of Chad Goodnough to director of business travel sales.
In his newest role during his 11-year career with Wyndham, Goodnough heads the business travel segment of the company`s national sales organization. A team of eight directors of national sales who oversee Wyndham`s top business travel accounts report to Goodnough.

Prior to his promotion, Goodnough served as a director of national sales—business travel for Wyndham, responsible for the development of the southeast U.S. region`s business travel segment.

“Business travel accounts for more than 20% of Wyndham`s overall sales,” said Jamie Walters, senior vice president of sales for Wyndham. “Chad has achieved incredible success in recent years re-opening Wyndham`s national sales office in Atlanta and heading up all business travel sales activities in the southeast region. With someone of his management caliber and sales experience at the helm, we anticipate even greater success reaching this crucial audience nationwide.”

From 1997 to 1999, Goodnough served as regional director of sales for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where he managed sales activities for 10 properties. He has also held several directors of sales positions for various Wyndham properties in the Midwest U.S. from 1992 to 1996, including the Wyndham Garden Hotel-Brookfield, Wis., the Wyndham Indianapolis, and the Wyndham Minneapolis Airport.

He began his career with the Wyndham Garden Hotel division, holding various sales and catering positions. Goodnough received a bachelor of science degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wis.
