Wyndham Atlanta Hotel Fortifies Sales Team With New Director

The Wyndham Atlanta, located in the heart of downtown, announced today the promotion Debra Edwards to director of sales. Edwards` promotion is aimed to invigorate the hotel`s current and future sales efforts and generate additional meeting and convention business for the 312-room property.

A member of the Wyndham Atlanta team since the property`s opening in June 1999, Edwards has helped establish the hotel as a major meeting facility for many of Atlanta`s top corporate leaders. During her tenure with Wyndham, she has served as catering manager, director of catering and most recently, associate director of sales.

With more than five years in the hospitality industry, Edwards now will be leading Wyndham Atlanta`s sales, catering and revenue producing teams. Prior to joining Wyndham, Edwards worked as catering sales manager for the Westin Peachtree Plaza.
