Marriott Golf Appoints Paul Loehr Associate Director Of Golf Operations

Marriott Golf has appointed Paul Loehr associate director of golf operations, effective immediately, announced Claye Atcheson, vice president of golf operations. Most recently, Loehr was the head golf professional at Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In his new capacity, Loehr will be responsible for overseeing the openings of new golf facilities, development of national procurement agreements and creating profit and service initiatives at Marriott Golf`s 25 facilities.


Because of the tremendous worldwide growth that Marriott Golf is currently undergoing, we wanted to ensure that Marriott Golf had a seasoned professional who is knowledgeable about the issues and concerns of the golf industry and who could help us remain one of the world`s best golf management companies, said Atcheson. We are confident that Paul Loehr is that person.


Loehr has been with Marriott Golf for six years. He has held various management positions at Marriott`s Blackhawk Country Club, the Marriott`s Marco Island Resort and Windwatch Golf Club.


Loehr earned at master`s of business administration from Fordham University and is a member of the Professional Golf Association of America.
