FORT WORTH, Texas - Just in time for the fall travel season, AA.com has added another way for customers to turn miles into travel. AAdvantage® members may now book a first or business class award with 40,000 AAdvantage bonus miles for travel to or from the continental U.S., Alaska and Canada on AA.com.

AAdvantage members who use the award-booking tool to book their trip receive an online booking bonus of up to 1,000 AAdvantage miles. The new site feature joins one of the most popular awards booked on AA.com, the 25,000-mile PlanAAhead award, which allows customers to redeem their AAdvantage miles for coach class air travel.

The new PlanAAhead award-booking feature can be used for air travel on American Airlines or American Eagle flights. Reservations made through the award-booking feature must be booked at least five days in advance of the trip. After logging in with an AAdvantage number and password, customers may select the “Reservation” or “AAdvantage” link to book the award.
