Air Canada and Canadian Airlines are pleased
to announce the combination of city ticket and sales offices in Vancouver.
Effective today, one office will provide more convenient service to customers
and reduce costs for both airlines.

Air Canada and Canadian Airlines customer service agents will continue to
offer a full range of services at the current Canadian Airlines office at
No.206, 1030 West Georgia Street at Burrard, in downtown Vancouver.  Air
Canada and Canadian employees will be clearly identifiable by uniform and
service counters will be identified with signage.

The combined ticket office will maintain core office hours of 9:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Starting April 3rd, Canadian Airlines and Air Canada began integrating
routes and schedules for Summer 2000 into one, expanded, unified network
including 12 exciting new destinations.  Air Canada and Canadian Airlines
launched 13 new routes on April 3rd and over the coming months will launch an
additional 19 new routes.

Customers of both airlines now also enjoy a variety of shared benefits,
including reciprocal earning and redemption of frequent flyer points and
airport lounge access.
