Al-Futtaim Travel voted Middle East’s Leading Travel Management Company

Al-Futtaim Travel was honoured with the ‘Middle East’s Leading Travel Management Company 2011’ award at the prestigious World Travel Awards held in Dubai.

In a ceremony attended by the industry’s elite from across the region, the Al-Futtaim Group company emerged with honours against industry leaders including Dnata, Kanoo, Amex, Arabian Tours, Orient Tours, Alshamel International, Kuwait, Attar Travel, Saudi Arabia and Regency Travel & Tours, Qatar.

Hailed as ‘The Oscars of the Travel Industry,’ the World Travel Awards   is acknowledged as the ultimate travel accolade and celebrates brands that are pushing the boundaries of industry excellence.

More than 462 organisations across the Middle East entered the World Travel Awards competition with travel agents worldwide, voting for the nominees. Categories awarded include all aspects of services provided by airlines, travel agents, tour operators, destinations and hotels amongst others.
