Turkish Airlines and MIAT Mongolian Airlines Announce Codeshare Agreement
Türkiye’s flag carrier Turkish Airlines, and Mongolia’s flag carrier, MIAT Mongolian Airlines recently signed a codeshare agreement. The signed agreement between two flag carriers will enable both carriers to provide more flexibility of choice to their respective passengers on direct flights between Türkiye and Mongolia along with further flights connecting via İstanbul.
Emirates notes 154% increase in vegan meals year on year
From its UK origins in 2014, the concept of ‘Veganuary’, a month-long initiative promoting the vegan diet, has continued to garner interest amongst the general population. In fact, Emirates has noted a 154% increase in vegan meals served onboard between 2021 and 2022, with over 280,000 plant-based meals consumed in the past year.
Norwegian had 1.3 million passengers in December – domestic Christmas travels on par with 2019
In December, Norwegian had more than 1.3 million passengers, an increase of 41 percent compared to December 2021. During 2022 Norwegian had 18 million passengers.
JetBlue Vacations and Uber Offer Free Vouchers for Rides to and From Select Airports
JetBlue Travel Products, a subsidiary of JetBlue Airways have announced a pilot program with Uber, which offers JetBlue Vacations customers who booked flight + hotel packages to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale or Las Vegas a free $20 voucher from Uber for airport transfers.

Etihad Airways doubles flights to Bangkok to meet soaring demand
Etihad Airways is boosting its flights to Bangkok, Thailand by doubling its frequency. From 26 March 2023, the airline will fly twice a day on the Abu Dhabi – Bangkok route, providing a total of 14 weekly nonstop services to Bangkok Airport (BKK).
