Scandinavia’s premier sustainable luxury travel curator launches expedition where learned survival skills complement transformative, skills-based, community-driven experiences in the Norwegian Arctic, March 25–April 1, 2026

The World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards has announced a strategic partnership with Tourism Economics, an Oxford Economics company, to deliver data-driven insights and strategies that support a more sustainable future for global tourism. Through this collaboration, World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards and Tourism Economics will combine their expertise to deliver cutting-edge research, economic impact assessments, and actionable policy recommendations.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has reaffirmed its role as a global leader in sustainable and responsible tourism, underscoring its commitment to embed sustainability across the country’s tourism supply chain. Guided by its self-initiated 17 Sustainable Tourism Goals (STGs) and the Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating (STAR), TAT is working with local partners, global organisations, and communities to ensure that travel to Thailand creates long-term value for people, planet, and prosperity.

Finnair has launched the Finnair for Business SAF service for corporate customers keen to help reduce aviation emissions and boost the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Available to members of the Finnair for Business program, the new SAF service allows companies to monitor the flight emissions that their business trips generate. They can then buy SAF environmental attributes – the quantified benefits of using sustainable aviation fuel rather than conventional jet fuel – to help lower the carbon footprint of flying.
