Rocco Forte Hotels is planning to open its first hotel in the Middle East in Abu Dhabi on November 7th.

Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, the 281 room hotel, designed by Olga Polizzi, blends European and Middle Eastern styles.

Rocco Forte Hotels’ newest property stands out among the luxury hotels in Abu Dhabi, built from curved glass with a wavy structure. Blue and green glass panels create a mosaic effect, mirroring the colours of the Arabian Gulf.

Each room offers guests a Plasma TV, iPod dock, large marble and limestone bathroom and luxurious furnishings.

Rooms and suites on the exclusive Executive Floor offer complimentary access to the 8th floor Executive Lounge and a dedicated concierge service. The hotel’s individually designed Presidential and Royal Suites each have a large, private terrace.

The oyster shaped Blue bar on the 6th floor appears, from the outside, to be suspended mid-air. The gotel features a modern Asian restaurant as well as the Oceana Grill and authentic Italian restaurant, Oro.

The hotel also features a large luxury spa, with separate facilities for men and women and an authentic Moroccan Hammam, as well as a Health Club, fitted with the latest Technogym equipment and a 25m outdoor pool.
