A two-part ITB Academy webinar taking place on 15 May and 4 June, at 10 a.m. respectively, will provide tourism companies, hotel experts and national tourism agencies in Asia with ground-breaking information on how to attract visitors from important source markets in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Entitled “German speaking source markets in Central Europe – understanding tourists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland“, the interactive seminars will highlight the reasons for the continuing growth in tourism to Asian countries. The online seminars will also supply participants with basic knowledge on guests’ habits and needs and on how the tourism market is structured. European experts representing tourism strategy, marketing and sales will be putting together the webinars. In addition to online seminars the ITB Academy is also offering international content workshops on sustainable tourism, LGBT travel (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) and other tourism-related topics relevant to these destinations. For example, a number of seminars are due to be held in Goa in India in November.
