Four Seasons Jackson Hole introduces Cory Carlson
Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole announces the appointment of Cory Carlson as Director of Sales and Marketing. In his new role, Carlson will provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing departments, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
“We are thrilled to have Cory join our team,” says Steve Benson, general manager for Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in hotel sales, as well as in-depth expertise in the hospitality and ski industries. We are confident that he will be an excellent addition to our Four Seasons team.”
Carlson brings more than 15 years of experience in the areas of luxury hotel sales, leisure travel sales and group sales. He joins Four Seasons from the Resort at Squaw Creek where he was the director of sales overseeing a sales team of seven group sales managers and one leisure travel sales manager. Prior to that, Carlson was the associate director of sales at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe where he led a team of six group sales managers. He brought the Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s largest winter customer event to Tahoe while he was there. Carlson also spent 10 years at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek as the senior sales manager who oversaw all aspects of leisure travel. He was awarded Sales Manager of the Year in 2002 for Hyatt Hotels, and was a five-time Hyatt Master, which recognises sales professionals for their extraordinary contributions to Hyatt and distinguishes them as role models within the company.
“I am delighted to have this opportunity to work alongside this talented team at Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole,” says Carlson. “The dramatic backdrop of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks creates such a unique and memorable mountain experience for our guests.”
