Volunteers from Four Seasons Hotel Amman teamed up with Family Kitchen to help distribute and package food to the less fortunate this Ramadan as part of its corporate social responsibility program and to give back to the community at the time of year where every hand and every heart is open.
Volunteers helped the Family Kitchen team by packaging food at their cold storage in Marka, then heading to Al Manara where they spent the afternoon distributing food to those in need. The team of volunteers from the Hotel were eager and ready to roll up their sleeves and help those who are in need at a time when it is appreciated the most.
“The Holy Month of Ramadan is a special time - lending a helping hand is the least we can do to give back to our community,” explains Nadia Daboub, director of human resources. “We have a long running and solid relationship with Family Kitchen, and we are very excited to join forces again this year.”
Food packing and distributing is not the only way the Hotel is giving back this year. Four Seasons Hotel Amman is also very honoured and excited to be part of Family Kitchen Food Bank again this Ramadan, donating all of excess food from iftar to this organization that spends the entire month packing and distributing food all over the kingdom. Thanks to the teamwork of hotels, restaurants, chefs and the many volunteers, Family Kitchen Food Bank has been able to deliver 14,592 iftar meals to the needy the first two weeks of Ramadan.
