FCm Travel Solutions creates unified global sales force

FCm Travel Solutions has brought together five of its leading regional sales leaders to form a specialist global sales team dedicated to winning and retaining multinational clients.

The team consists of sales leaders from across FCm’s global network including Cameron McLeod from FCm USA, Tate Williams Crawford from FCm Europe, Sue McEvoy from FCm Asia Pacific and Manuel Couturier from FCm Latin America.

The four sales directors report into FCm’s London-based global director of sales Alex Armstrong.

“The formation of this team comes at a critical time for FCm as our portfolio of multinational clients has grown significantly over the last two years,” said
Armstrong.

“As a result of this growth we have been very proactive in creating dedicated multinational travel teams and resources to ensure clients receive the sales, account management, technology and supplier management support specifically required by multi-market companies.

“Our multinational sales team is charged with solidifying and growing our presence in this area of the market and represents some of our most experienced sales leaders from across our business.”

The USA’s Cameron McLeod has been with FCm’s parent company Flight Centre Limited (FCL) for more than 11 years and has twice previously ranked as number one sales person globally for FCm.

Based in Chicago, McLeod will oversee new client acquisition and the sales process for tenders originating out of the USA.

Former sales leader for New Zealand, Tate Williams Crawford has also worked for FCm’s parent company FCL for more than a decade.

He has broad experience in the business travel industry, working directly with clients as a travel manager, business development manager (BDM) as well as a national operations manager.

One of the company’s top five BDMs globally, Sue McEvoy has been part of FCm for over ten years.

Sue has been instrumental in winning a number of blue-chip brands in Australia for FCm and brings to the role extensive experience in corporate travel covering sales and account management.

Latin America sales leader Manuel Couturier comes from a corporate background of technology, sales and account management.

Based in Mexico, Couturier has strong ties with FCm’s offices in Central and South America and has extensive local market knowledge and experience.

Armstrong added: “We are excited to be consolidating FCm’s multinational sales experience at a global level with such a credible and experienced team of people.

“This new leadership team is a positive step forward for FCm and effectively dovetails with our multinational expertise in other areas such as account management, technology and data management.”
