Accor enjoys strong performance in 2011
French hotel giant has reported a series of strong financial results for 2011.
In figures “well above the group’s objectives”, Accor reported sales for the year increased 2.5 per cent to a total of €6.1 billion.
A total of 38,700 new rooms, or 318 hotels, were also added to the group’s portfolio.
Revenue grew by 5.2 per cent on a like-for-like basis for the year, thanks to improved occupancy rates and average room rates across all segments.
“After recording strong business levels in the fourth quarter, Accor confirms its full-year EBIT target of €510-530 million,” added a statement from Accor.
