World class cuisine at Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa

While Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa has long been recognised as one of the finest destinations in Dubai – with voters at the prestigious World Travel Awards selecting the property as the Middle East’s Leading Golf Resort earlier this year – fewer guests are aware of fine dining options on offer.

This, however, is starting to change, with the arrival of top chefs from around the world to ply their trade on one of the two floating restaurants.

DiVAZ

Leading the way has been DiVAZ, which has been making waves recently welcoming Michelin Star chef Stefan Karlsson to Dubai.

Karlsson currently owns and runs Restaurant Fond in Gothenburg, Sweden where he works with fresh and local produce to prepare dishes steeped in Swedish tradition yet with a modern and simple flare.

His speciality dishes for DiVAZ include smoke-marinated salmon, panko-style langoustines, sugar fried lamb with seasonal vegetables, finishing off with baked milk chocolate served with caramel apple, sorbet and almond crunch.

Fredrik Reinisch, general manager of Jebel Ali, enthused: “I am delighted to be welcoming a Michelin Star Chef to Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa and it is a true honour to have him cook on DiVAZ.”

Bateaux Dubai

After more than five years of cruising along Dubai Creek, Bateaux Dubai has also established itself as one of the most desirable dining destinations in the Emirate.

Created by Seine Design, France, the vessel offers an anti-reflective glass enclosure where guests are treated to unobstructed views from all seats while a top-end sound system delivers a superb acoustic experience.

Specifically designed for the flat waters of the creek, fine dining is key to the experience, either for local residents or as a must-do excursion for all visitors to Dubai.

Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa

The award-winning five star Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, situated on its own private 800 metre, palm lined beach, overlooking the golden shores of the Arabian Gulf, is renowned for its relaxed holiday atmosphere and the option to stay in one of two beachfront hotels.

Guests of Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa are able to stay at the main building Jebel Ali Hotel, built in 1981 and refurbished in 2009, or at the more spacious and luxurious Palm Tree Court & Spa, refurbished in 2011.

This resort is known as Dubai’s only true resort, because of its outstanding variety of offers and its wide range of leisure activities.

Outside of the DiVAZ and Bateaux Dubai, guests can choose to play golf at the championship-standard nine-hole course, ride at the stables, explore the bio-garden or simply relax by the beach or in the spa.

There is also a varied culinary choice with over 15 restaurants and bars to choose from.
