Westin Soma Bay Golf Resort opens in Egypt

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has opened the Westin Soma Bay Golf Resort & Spa at Somabay, marking the debut of the Westin brand in Egypt.

Located on its own peninsula, just south of Hurghada on the Red Sea, Somabay offers the perfect beach holiday getaway.         

Positioned at the highest point of the Somabay peninsula, in the centre of the 18-hole Gary Player Championship golf course, the Westin Soma Bay Golf Resort & Spa features 166 generously sized rooms and suites offering breath-taking views of the lush green fairways, azure Red Sea and rich desert landscape.

All rooms are equipped with the latest in-room technology while Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed will ensure that guests awake feeling renewed and energised.

The resort will also offer six restaurants, including an all-day dining restaurant, a café, a bar and a lounge while the extensive grounds will provide guests with the ideal place for relaxation and recreation.
