New sales leadership for Madinat Jumeirah

Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai, has announced the appointment of Andy Nightingale as resort director of sales.

Nightingale brings more than 20 years’ experience from the airline and hospitality industries.

He has worked with global companies including InterContinental Hotels, Rotana Hotels & Resorts Virgin Atlantic and other European airlines.

A British national, he has been in the Gulf region for nine years.

He first worked in Doha and then moved to Dubai six years ago.

He joins Madinat Jumeirah from Rotana Hotels & Resorts where he held the position of corporate director of global sales and witnessed huge growth in their portfolio and international development.

He brings a broad and diverse range of sales experience including global sales and on property director of sales and marketing.

Nightingale will be responsible for overseeing the sales strategy for Madinat Jumeirah including the new Jumeirah Al Naseem scheduled to open in 2016.
