W London are appointmenting Robert Wattie as the hotel’s new Beverage & Food Manager. Reporting to Conrad Patterson, Head of Ignite Operations for Ignite Group who manage the W London outlets, and Coen van Niersen, General Manager of W London – Leicester Square, Wattie will oversee W London’s vibrant W Lounge with its creative cocktail menu, renowned W Rock Tea and chilled-out W Does Brunch on Sundays. 

He will also be responsible for the hotel’s exclusive destination bar which has recently launched its new Beatnik club night on Wednesdays.

Canadian Wattie brings a wealth of experience to his new role at W London having worked across all areas of hotel food and beverage operations.  He began his hospitality career in 1996 in the kitchen team at London’s Dorchester Hotel and has since held roles at The Savoy Hotel, Four Seasons Hotels in Vancouver and the Bahamas, One Aldwych and The Goodwood Park Hotel in Chichester.  He joins W London from private members’ club The Royal Automobile Club where he was Food & Beverage Manager.
