Largest hotel in Saudi set to open

Swissotel Hotels and Resorts has announced the Swissotel Makkah in Saudi Arabia is set to open its doors, according to reports.

Located in close proximity to the holy Masid Al Haraam, the new five star property, will be the largest hotel in the kingdom according to the group.

With a comprehensive array of facilities, Swissôtel Makkah is part of a new urban complex development.

Boasting an all-under-one-roof concept, the hotel features 1562 contemporary guest rooms & luxury suites, three restaurants & one tea lounge, three meeting rooms and one business centre.

The Swissotel Makkah will mark the hotel group’s first venture in the Middle East, and is due to welcoming guests in July 2012.
