Kids go free to Lakeside on c2c this Christmas

Children will travel for free this Christmas when they head to Lakeside for Christmas shopping, National Express train operator c2c has announced. Up to four children can travel free on c2c services to Chafford Hundred station when they are accompanied by a fare-paying adult, from today until January 6th - on any off-peak train during the week, and at any time during the weekend.

c2c Head of Marketing Alan Bray said: “Whether you’re heading to Lakeside for Christmas shopping or planning to hit the January sales, kids will be able to travel there for free with c2c. Just visit the c2c website to get your voucher, and then you can save your money for spending in the shops.”

The offer includes season ticket holders whose tickets are valid for travel through Chafford Hundred, and is valid on c2c services only. The voucher and full details are available from http://www.c2c-online.co.uk/offers/kids_go_for_free.

Also this Christmas, c2c are running extra shopper special trains to Stratford for visitors to Westfield, from Saturday 22 December.
