ibis brings Monscierge service to London

ibis is offering, in selected London hotels, an intelligent concierge service - Monscierge - which provides a high visibility focal point where staff and guests can interact or simply find their own information 24/7.

“Whether on business or pleasure, we know that peoples’ time is extremely precious especially when they want to experience as much as possible whilst away,” said Karelle Lamouche, ibis marketing director.

“Monscierge has been designed to help guests source any information they need from maps and transport options to historic attractions and local restaurants in a quick and fun way.”

With 73 per cent of front desk questions regarding local recommendations and information - the solution offers quick, convenient access to information when guests find some extra time on their hands - 24 hours a day and in a range of languages as standard.

Weather and flight information is live for guests’ current or future destinations, giving advance notice in case of delays.

Monscierge will be used by guests to send hotel-branded social postcards via email, Facebook or Twitter.

Guests can personalise them with their own message, share their experience with their friends and family, and it all attaches to a digital postcard designed by the hotel.

Liam Walsh, Monscierge EMEA managing director, said: “ibis is one of the best known and largest economy brands in Europe and have a unique understanding of the needs of today’s travellers.

“It’s a pleasure to work with a team of professionals who know how to get the most from this type of technology for staff and guests.

“It’s about creating a positive, engaging, guest experience on a flexible platform that’s scalable, reliable and cost effective.

“ibis recognised the value in providing guests with a fit-for-purpose hardware and software combination.

“It’s simply not possible to replicate this same experience in a lobby on a ten-inch screen.”

“With Monscierge’s industry leading content management system providing ibis with easy, centralised content control and our range of mobile products, the overall package is unique - we have technology you simply cannot find elsewhere today.”
