Hertz unveils re-designed San Diego car rental facility

Hertz is re-designing, updating and unveiling locations worldwide, starting with its flagship location at San Diego Airport.

The transformed locations are a rethinking of what a car rental experience should be as the company unveils ‘Road Trip by Hertz’ retail stations, concierge style service that eliminates the need to wait in line, an iPad station for researching local area information and to recharge mobile devices, and on-site printing and FedEx services.

On-Site Retail: ‘Road Trip by Hertz’ retail stations with food and drinks and essential road trip and travel supplies.

On-Site Technology Tools: Recharge electronics, interact with an iPad station set up to access the latest travel apps, entertain kids with games, and book a Hertz reservation, among other things.

On-Site Business Tools: Customers can print on-site and access FedEx directly inside the store to send important documents and packages.

Dramatic Vehicle Displays: New vehicle displays showcase Hertz’s unique and exciting rental cars – such as the Hertz Penske GT in the US.

Sustainability Leadership: The facility transformations also adhere to the company’s commitment to global sustainability best practices.
